Transiting at the Sama-Sama Express Hotel in the KLIA2 airport – Malaysia is a convenient way to wait in long transit without leaving the airport.

Let’s get to the point: airports can be downright painful at times, especially when forced into a long transit that requires long waiting on a seat or corner area of the airport that, after several hours, feels like you are sitting on needles as your back begins to stiffen. You feel every ache in your body. You begin to feel fatigued, but unfortunately, sleep is near impossible, and there is only so much money your credit card will allow you to spend when shopping in duty-free stores.

And don’t get me started if you have children. It only worsens for the poor old parents who do their best to entertain the restless little ones.

This article won’t solve all your transit problems unless you are in a significant airport worldwide with accommodation that doesn’t require you to go through immigration. Fortunately, that is a convenience you’re afforded at a cost when transiting at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Two (KLIA2 ) for tourists waiting in long transit. In this case, it’s the Sama-Sama Express Hotel inside the KLIA2 terminal—the AirAsia terminal of Kuala Lumpur.

Additional charges apply for hourly rates beyond the initial six hours until you check out for your next flight. Ensure you book the required hours in advance to secure your stay.

My Verdict of the Sama-Sama Express Hotel

During my visit to KLIA2 Airport, my wife and I enjoyed staying at the exquisite Sama-Sama Express Hotel for seven hours. It was a remarkable experience, especially considering it was our first time paying for a room after several visits to the bustling airport. I must say, it was worth every penny.

We were greeted with warmth and hospitality from the moment we checked in. The room was a sight to behold, with its tasteful decor and cozy ambience. We immediately felt at ease, knowing we were in for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.

One of the highlights of our brief but memorable stay was the opportunity to indulge in a much-needed rest. The plush and comfortable bed provided the perfect respite after a long journey. We slept like babies, waking up feeling refreshed and revitalized.

As if the delightful accommodations weren’t enough, we also enjoyed the luxurious amenities. A warm and refreshing shower was the perfect way to wash away the weariness of travel. It was a true oasis of relaxation, leaving us feeling pampered and rejuvenated.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Sama-Sama Express Hotel to anyone in the terminal for over six hours, particularly during nighttime. Trust me when I say there is no better way to start your holiday than feeling refreshed and ready to embark on your next adventure.
