Who is your Fair Dinkum Traveller?

I am Anthony Jury and I am your Fair Dinkum Traveller who will take you on an adventure around the globe. If you are into Asian travel then follow me as I guide you through different countries, learning different cultures. If you love Australia, then you are in the right place as I have been to all corners of the country and lived in most major cities.

Getting started

2016 was the year of change for me. I am a coal miner but it is not my passion, but for now it pays the bills and supports my family. So in the early months of the year 2016, I decided to start my travel blog, Fair Dinkum Traveller, and work through the slow grind of building a blog. So far so good.

 

Asia

Asia is my niche, travelling into the great continent as much as I can and why not, it is a beautiful part of the world with a real eye opening experience. Visiting countries like South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand to name a few and forever growing in the close future, with Vietnam on the horizon real soon.

Australia

Australia is my home. Born in Perth, raised in Melbourne and High School on the Gold Coast. Lived in Darwin, the Pilbarra and now reside in the South west of Western Australia, and holidayed everywhere else, including Sydney, Cairns, and magnificent Hamilton Island. Fair to say I have made my way around this great country, but sadly Tasmania thus far has been neglected but definitely on the radar.

South West

You’re not an Aussie if you don’t camp or go 4wd driving on the beautiful beaches. Come summer time in Australia I will take you around the great South West region, where I reside, to the many camping sites and beaches in the region and give the Holden ute a good workout. Not to forget the tourist boom region of Margaret River, Dunsborough and Busselton. If you got a question about the South West I will more than likely have an answer. So please do not hesitate to contact me and fire way a question.
