1. Bitexco Financial Building
The best views when you visit Saigon is a must when you visit the city and you can be assured that the perspective is different when you are away from the manic traffic that is down below and you see the fast-developing city from the 49th floor of the Bitexco Financial Building Skydeck.
The cost to have a ride on the express elevator to near the top of the building is around $12AUD, and it’s worth every dollar to get amazing 360-views of a city on the rise.
Before paying the money to head on up, make sure you go on a clear day, no need to waste your trip to Bitexco for when overcast conditions obstruct the view.
Even if heights are not your forte, you can be entertained in the shopping precinct down below with a broad range of retail outlets, restaurants, cafes and a movie cinema.
2. Vietnam War Remnant Museum
On first sight, it all seems fine with real United States Tanks, artillery guns and fighter planes on display when you enter through the front gates.
Thick skin is required son after when you enter the building and go upstairs to the different exhibits. The photos are not only heartbreaking but horrific to view, especially relevant to note if bringing kids with you.
Pictures of missing limbs, dead soldiers and traumatic visions of young kids running away and fearing for their lives when their villages were attacked, it brings tears to your eyes.

it’s a nice change to be in a real glamorous part of the city that comes with stylish restaurants lined up along the canal and a stunning walkway that leads to the Romantic and lit up Starlight Bridge that is a dazzling delight in the evening.
The Crescent Mall will knock you for six with its modern touch and will make your retail shopping experience pure luxury in the comfort of air-conditioning.
