It is what the people of Laos are most proud of in their country, this grand building that stands mighty in the Vientiane City for everyone to see. The Patuxai War Monument celebrates the country’s independence from France and it is a pleasure to visit and view the city from great heights.

Wat Sisaket Temple

You’ll find in this city that temples make up a lot of the city and Wat Sisaket is no exception when it comes stunning temples in the area. It is unique in design with the main temple situated in the middle with a cleverly crafted terrace on the outside which is popular for a prayer with the locals.

Chao Anouvong Park

Situated near the Mekong River, therefore only a stone throw from Thailand, Chao Anouvang Park is the life of the city. Take a stroll through the park and view the statue of King Anouvong, then in the evening check out the Night Markets and get in on some Laos entertainment.
